If your procedure is an outpatient procedure or an inpatient procedure, you and your family will be in very capable hands. When you are undergoing surgery, you can expect to be our focus. But what you might not expect is that your family is also our priority. We will keep your family informed, every hour. And, should they need information in the meantime, they can use a telephone that will ring right into the Operating Room.
Our Short Procedure Unit provides same-day surgery, backed by the resources and staff of the hospital. We will make your procedure as comfortable and efficient as possible, because we realize that you would really like to get home. We will send you home with follow-up instructions and, of course, should you have any questions, you can call us at any time. And, for your convenience, should you require medication, you can get your prescriptions filled at the Moses Taylor Apothecary, located on first floor of the hospital.
Oncology
Moses Taylor Hospital Oncology delivers a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer treatment. All staff members have been specially selected for their ability to teach, nurture, and support patients and their families. This coordinated program is offered to inpatients and outpatients.
Treatment and diagnostic procedures include chemotherapy administration, blood product replacement therapy, nutritional support, pain management, pastoral care and palliative care.
